Dublin City Council has granted planning permission to American lingerie retailer Victoria's Secret to begin works and erect new exterior signage for a store on Nassau Street in Dublin 2.

The approved development, located at Retail Units 1 and 2 at 40–43 Nassau Street, includes ground-floor alterations and the installation of fascia-mounted halo-illuminated signage as the brand prepares its new Dublin presence.

The decision follows the retailer's departure from its flagship premises at 28–29 Grafton Street earlier this summer. Victoria's Secret had operated from the multi-storey Grafton Street site since 2017, serving as one of its prominent retail locations in Ireland.

The former Grafton Street store is itself the subject of redevelopment plans. Property firm Huntstown Bioenergy UC recently lodged planning applications with Dublin City Council to refurbish the site for a premium beauty retailer, a proposal that has drawn an objection from neighbouring department store Brown Thomas.
