US President Donald Trump arrived in Dublin on Saturday for a two-day visit to Ireland, where he is scheduled to hold meetings with senior Irish leaders before travelling to County Clare.

Trump's itinerary in Dublin includes a meeting with Irish President Catherine Connolly at Áras an Uachtaráin, followed by discussions with Taoiseach Micheál Martin at Farmleigh Estate in Phoenix Park. He is also expected to address business representatives at the US ambassador's residence in Dublin.

Ahead of the meetings, Micheál Martin expressed anticipation for discussing shared interests and reaffirming the economic and diplomatic relations between the US and Ireland. US-owned multinationals represent a significant portion of Ireland's commercial sector, employing approximately one in ten workers in the country.

Following his Dublin engagements, the US president will travel to his oceanfront resort in Doonbeg, County Clare, where the Amgen Irish Open golf tournament is taking place.

An Garda Síochána has deployed security measures across Dublin and County Clare. Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly stated that peaceful demonstrations would be facilitated, but warned that public disorder or disruptions to critical presidential movements would not be tolerated.
