The Irish Government has finalized and announced the details of Budget 2027, introducing a series of measures aimed at easing the cost of living for households across the country.

Key tax changes in the newly unveiled budget include raising the threshold for the higher rate of income tax to €46,500. Additionally, personal tax credits are set to increase by €125, providing direct relief to workers.

On the social welfare front, the Government has announced a €10 weekly increase in standard social welfare payments. This measure is designed to support vulnerable groups and low-income individuals amid ongoing economic pressures.

To address utility costs, Budget 2027 also incorporates targeted energy cost relief measures. These provisions are intended to help households manage their electricity and heating bills during the winter months.
