Gardaí have launched an investigation following an incident in Dublin where a woman in her 30s was seriously injured in an alleged assault.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, prompting emergency services to attend the scene. The injured woman was subsequently transported to a Dublin hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries.

An area has been sealed off by Gardaí to facilitate a technical examination as part of the ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage, and investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to come forward.
