Gardaí investigating a fatal incident of violent disorder in Leopardstown, south Dublin, have arrested two additional men, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to six. The latest arrests, involving a man in his 20s and a man in his 40s, were made in the Dublin area on Tuesday, September 8.

An Garda Síochána confirmed that both individuals have since been released without charge, with files being prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. The investigation stems from a violent disturbance at an abandoned premises in the South County Business Park on the evening of Saturday, August 29.

Emergency services were alerted to the scene at approximately 8:25 pm following reports of a large altercation involving several males. Three men were transferred to hospital with significant injuries, including 24-year-old Siminic Rostas, who sustained catastrophic injuries during the confrontation. Rostas was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital on Tuesday, September 1.

Evidence presented during earlier court proceedings involving other suspects established that an estimated 15 people had been residing at the abandoned site. Detectives stated that a group arrived at the premises stating they intended to retrieve personal property, prompting a verbal argument that escalated into a physical clash involving lethal weapons.

Several men have previously appeared in court charged in connection with the incident on counts including violent disorder and assault. Gardaí at Dundrum Garda Station are maintaining an incident room under a Senior Investigating Officer and continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the surrounding Leopardstown area between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm on August 29 to contact investigators.
